In-depth consultation
At your first appointment, Dr. Kyle will listen to your concerns regarding your skin health and complete a thorough investigation of your personal and family history, medications, diet, daily exposures, lifestyle, stress, and current skin care practices and products. We ask that you fill out our intake form prior to your appointment and complete a three-day dietary journal to bring to your visit.
Nutrient and other lab testing
If appropriate, nutrient testing for deficiencies and other bloodwork may be ordered. If you have had recent bloodwork or outside testing, please bring copies of these results to your appointment.
Detailed, personalized plan
Once investigation and testing are complete, Dr. Kyle will create a personalized plan. This will likely include a combination of nutrition recommendations, product revamping, and stress reduction techniques. Medications may be prescribed if appropriate, but our goal is always to heal from the inside out and avoid long-term pharmaceutical management as we strive for a more holistic approach.
Continued care
Follow-up is typically scheduled at six weeks to see how things are going and address any issues with treatment plan. A three-month follow-up is also scheduled to evaluate efficacy of treatment and make changes when needed. From there on, follow-ups at three-six month intervals may be recommended depending on the nature of the problem.
Please note
Due to the small nature of our practice and an effort to bring quality care without the time constraints of many physicians, Dr. Kyle does not accept insurance and is considered an out-of-network provider. Prior to your appointment, you may call your insurance company to find out if you will be reimbursed for out-of-network services. Dr. Kyle will provide you with an insurance claim form for submission for possible reimbursement.
Please be advised that payment is required at the time of your visit and can be made with cash, check, Mastercard, Visa, or Health Savings Account cards. As we allot significant time for each appointment and spend a good deal of time reviewing intake sheets prior to your visit, a non-refundable deposit is collected at the time of booking. Fee for initial comprehensive consultation is $250 and follow-up appointments are $125. Lab testing, if required, is not included and will be an additional cost depending on specific tests ordered.
